- 1 lb Cajun sausage, sliced
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add sliced Cajun sausage and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Add pasta and heavy cream. Stir well.
- Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve hot.
