Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast with olive oil, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts.
  6. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer, top each with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return to the air fryer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure the chicken breasts are of even thickness for even cooking.
  • You can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
