Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
  2. Wash and trim the asparagus by snapping off the tough ends.
  3. In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Ensure the asparagus is evenly coated.
  4. Place the asparagus on the preheated grill grates, perpendicular to the grates to prevent them from falling through.
  5. Grill for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the asparagus is tender-crisp and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with minced garlic before serving.
